Guess you can turn it over a ton and still win in the playoffs. Not the Ravens

Agreed. In the end luck often plays a big part. Bad officiatinginjuriesmental mistakes. Denver and Seattle made less mistakes and ended up winning.
Now with Nix ruled out I see Denver getting bumped next week. Luck plays a big part.

they showed a stat that teams that lose the turnover battle on the road are something like 1-58 so it's a huge obstacle to overcome

“Lucky” for usthey assembled a team with a moderate QB. Even luckierStafford was the second highest cap number.

If Caleb had completed the comebacktrading Lamar would have seemed almost a necessity to compete for a SB.

Now. As we look at the final 4 in th coming weekswe can focus primarily on the ramsthen the Seahawks and finally the Eagles.
The PatsBroncosBears etc don’t hold as much comparative value due to an extra 20% cap freed up by not paying a QB. Some conclusions can still be drawnbut everything will carry that caveat.

Crazy if Darnold is the first from the 18 class to win a ring

2 more. Rams and Pats added to the list.

Vrabel hired about 1 year agoMcVay 9 years ago. Still trends towards short tenured coaches winning immediately.

                      - chalk that up as evidence to suggest moving on from Harbaugh was correct. McVay has had success with this team and remains. Vrabel adds another notch in the re-tread category2 of 4 being recent re-tread hires. One from each side of the ball. With Stefanski outthe only retreads of consequence are really Flores or Saleh.

                      - 4&11 added to 1&15…. So 4 top half offensive lines including half the top 4. All 4 lines grade better than ours. - I would like to dig deeper on this pointwho is the coachhow much do they spendwhere do they acquire players? - coming soon

I’ll be back to edit more

Myles Garrett broke the NFL sack record and finished the regular season as the league's highest-graded pass rusher.

14th is the top rated pass rusher still playing. Then 15192030 the patriots aren’t even represented in the top 32.

                        We need improvement here

Top 2 WR’s are on final 4 teamsincluding 2 Rams in the top 16. 7 of the top 16 made the playoffs. 2 Ravens among this group. Not sure this shows we need to improve here.

To no one’s surprisethe Cleveland Browns finished the 2025 season as the NFL’s top defensive line.

4,5,8&15 positive correlation of success in this metric to playoff appearance - Baltimore rank- 31
