The White Flag is a deployable item added in the ARC Raiders Riven Tides update (Patch 1.26.0). You plant it. It waves. Other players see it. Theoretically they stop shooting. Realisticallythey shoot faster.
It has zero offensive capabilityzero defensive valueand costs you a hotbar slot. It isto put it charitablya flex item. To put it accurately: it is a piece of fabric on a stick that you carry into a warzone because you believe in the fundamental goodness of strangers armed with railguns.
Confirmed The White Flag does not affect ARC machines. Machines have no mercy column in their code. Do not attempt diplomacy with a Shredder.
To craft ityou need the blueprint first. That blueprint is found on the Riven Tides map: the new coastal map added in the same update: through pure RNG loot drop ARC Raiders mechanicsmeaning the game decides whether you deserve it.
There is no fixed spawn. The White Flag Blueprint location Riven Tides is RNG-based and can appear in multiple areas. What follows are the places where probability is at least pretending to be on your side.

Running a Night Raid Riven Tides blueprint farming session increases loot quality and container spawn rates across the board. The tradeoff is that everything trying to kill you also gets a buff. This is called "balanced game design." Decide whether a decorative flag is worth the masochism.
Expectation Management Blueprints are still a random drop. The game nerfed drop rates after players proved too competent at finding them. Plan for multiple raidsnot one lucky sweep.
When lootingopen everything: suitcasesbriefcasesdrawersred lockersgreen containers. The blueprint looks like any other blueprint pickup. It will not announce itself with fanfare. The game does not care about your feelings.

Once you have the blueprinttake it back to Speranza and select "Learn and Consume." The blueprint is destroyed on use: a metaphor nobody asked for. After learning ithead to Medical Lab I and craft the item with the following materials:

This is among the cheapest craftable items in the game. The White Flag craft materials ARC Raiders cost is so low that the real investment is time spent hunting the blueprint: not the craft itself. If you have played more than two hoursyou almost certainly have the materials already.
Place the White Flag in your hotbar. Select it. Press the use button to plant it in the direction you're facing. A small flag appears. It waves. You stand there hoping the person aiming at you has a soul.
The most effective tactical use is breaking line of sightthen planting the flag where the enemy last saw you. It communicates intent without requiring you to expose yourself. Whether your opponent respects the gesture is their problem: and also yoursshould they decide not to.

RNG. Best odds at Stacking Yard and Hotel Panorama Azzurro. Search every container you can physically reach.
No confirmed reports. This blueprint is tied to Riven Tides map loot pools. Stay on the coast.
Sometimes. It signals intent. Whether your opponent has any is between them and their conscience.
Yes. Night Raid boosts loot quality and spawn density. Higher riskbetter odds. Standard extraction shooter logic.
Each crafted flag is one deployment. Blueprint is permanent once learned. Craft as many as your Fabric allows.
