Mrs. Alice Nichols Elliottage 91a resident of Fancy Farmpassed away at 5:32 A.M. ThursdayJuly 172025 at Life Care Center in LaCenterKY. She was born in Fancy Farmon ThursdayJune 71934 to the late Bernard Harrison Carrico and Ada Gertrude Elliott Carrico. Alice was a long time member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. She was a retired secretary for Nichols Electric and had worked as a final inspector at the Merit Clothing Co. and worked at Monique Fabrics and Mayfield Florist. Alice was married for 36 years to her first husband; the late Milburn Nichols who passed away on January 151993. Alice and Milburn have two surviving childrenson: Bert (Jane) NicholsLouisvilleKY.daughter; Doris (Mike) StoneKevilKY. Alice remarried to Joseph Harold Elliott in 1999and he passed away in 2012. Alice also leaves to cherish her memory; her grandchildren; Haley ( Nathan) ZoellerCarson WeberAmy (Joe) LainMatthew Milburn (Regan) Nichols and James Nicholsher great grandchildren; Margaret Grace LainAbigale Josephine LainRyman Oliver Nichols and Lola Brook Zoeller. Her step grandchildren; Sandy StoneGreg StoneDewayne (Emelia) Stone. Her step great grandchildren; Owen RuffLyla RuffLucy RuffHollis June Stone and Callen Stone. Alice also had many beloved nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by he siblings; William James (Wilma) CarricoThomas Charles ( Ophelia) CarricoRev. Joseph Albert (Leona) CarricoRudolph Bernard (Polly) Carrico and Mary Elizabeth (Joe) Willett. Alice was a fastidious homemakergreat cookwonderful baker. Her specialties were Mimi chocolate chip cookies and delicious chocolate pies. Alice’s sweet naturebashful grintwinkling eyes and mischievous little wink will be forever remembered by those who knew and loved her. One of the highlights of her life was on August 62016 when she won the Ram Crew Cab truck at the Fancy Farm Picnic with the one and only ticket she purchased. Funeral mass for Alice will be held on SaturdayJuly 192025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Saint Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy FarmKY. Father Darrell Venters will officiate. Interment will be in the Saint Joseph Cemetery in MayfieldKY. Serving as pallbearers will be; Carson WeberDwayne StoneGreg StoneMatt NicholsJames Nichols and John Carrico. Honorary pallbearers will be; Joe Lain and Mike Stone. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Saint Jerome Church in Fancy Farm.
