Hola a todos -

He leído las traducciones de paila del RAE (sarténmas o menos)pero no creo que apliquen en este caso:

"dos quedaron en la paila del carro..." Viene de un texto hondureño.

Two stayed in the---- of the car.

    • Pero como dice carro-- sería baúl/trunk? o cuándo dicen camineta se entiende así? o es como la cama del pickup como decimos en El Salvador. Necesito lo que es en Hondurascomo dijo KL710.
     
    This is the old custom of convert some English Word to Spanish manner. PAYLOAD = PAILA.
    Many Japanese and Chinese pickups bring a big sticker with the PAYLOAD of the PickUp in the back lid...so many times were take it as a Model Name..but as PAILA.
